Nine pieces of 'Piedmont' pattern china for the Southern Railway System includes: A 10.125-inch dinner plate with backstamp, signed Sterling; A relish dish with backstamp, signed Sterling, measures 7.25 x 3.5 inches; A 2.25-inch bouillon cup with matching saucer, both back stamped and dated 1954, signed Sterling; A 2.5-inch demitasse cup with matching saucer, saucer with backstamp and signed Sterling, cup is unmarked; A 3-inch cup with matching saucer, no backstamps, signed Buffalo; A 3-inch cup with no backstamp, signed Syracuse; and A pair of silver plated sugar tongs stamped 'Southern.'

Very good condition noting a very light hairline on the demitasse saucer. There are no other chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
