235: A PAIR MID TO LATE 20C. TABLE LAMPS SIGNED NOGUCHI

The table lamp pair after Isamu Noguchi (Japanese/American 1904-1988) have thin bamboo standards in iron stone-like base with cast embossed lettering of MADE IN JAPAN and original paper shades stamped I Noguchi in black ink.
Measures 31 inches each.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, shade discoloration along wire frame.
Provenance: The estate of Morton and Estelle Sosland.In Kansas City, the Sosland family name is synonymous with both giving, and the arts. Of their many contributions to the community, 'The Soslands gave one of the nation's finest private collections of American Indian art to the Nelson-Atkins' museum (nelson-atkins.org).
