Die struck, double-sided, tractor depicted on the obverse, the reverse with 'Guaranteed oil burning, oil cooled, oilpull tractor, Advance-Rumely Thresher Co., La Porte, Ind.' Maker marked F.H. Noble & Co., Chicago.
The company that would become known as Advance-Rumley was founded in 1853 by Meinrad Rumley. It acquired Advance Thresher Co in 1911 and existed until A-R was acquired by Allis-Chalmers in 1931. The oil pull tractor featured kerosene-burning engines and were manufactured from 1910 through 1930.
