79: A RARE EVANS POTTERY WHIMSEY JUG, DEXTER MISSOURI

An unsigned Evans Pottery glazed stoneware whimsey, the form, similar to a beehive jug, has an applied strap handle and the distinctive Evans coggled surface, the top is formed with two small openings and a flower is applied to the front side, unsigned.
Measures 9 x 7 inches.
Very good condition, one small area of glaze loss, no damage or repair.
