Die struck gilt stickpin with an oilpull tractor theme, reverse reads 'Advance-Rumely Thresher Company, LaPorte, Ind.'
The company that would become known as Advance-Rumley was founded in 1853 by Meinrad Rumley. It acquired Advance Thresher Co in 1911 and existed until A-R was acquired by Allis-Chalmers in 1931. The oil pull tractor featured kerosene burning engines and were manufactured from 1910 through 1930.
