Training Certificate; Mountain and Cold Weather Certificate.

Bronze Star Medal with V Device and OLC; Purple heart medal; Good Conduct Medal; PTO Campaign medal, with two bronze stars; WWII Victory Medal; Occupation Medal; Philippine Campaign medal, Parachute wings; CIB. Sgt. Donald L. Lewis, Asiatic-Pacific Theatre. Wartime records not present. Enlisted 19 Sept 1940. Discharged 4 June 1945 as Sgt. Re-enlisted 8 Sept 1945. Promoted to Staff Sgt. 11 Feb 1946. Discharged 12 Sept the same year to enlist in the Regular Army. Qualified as Parachutist and Gliderman on 6 Dec. 1949. Assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division. Promoted to 1st Sergeant on 24 May 1950. Discharged 3 June 1956. Re-enlisted. Discharged 31 Aug 1968.
