The elaborate oblong hand rubbed lacquer box with hinged lid, scalloped serpentine form, hinged lid, original lock and key, exterior decoration of chinoiserie panels and cartouches; the interior fitted with one covered, eight shaped trays and two covers for each tray stack - rare and unusual to find these contents intact, the whole raised on four carved and gilded wood dragon feet.
Measures 5 x 13.5 x 7 inches.
Excellent original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, very minor light wear at some edges.
