The cross-stitch sampler with three alphabets, trees. flowers, birds and lions, framed by a meandering vine with strawberries, signed 'Lydia Goodman, aged 11 years, 1871.'
Stitching measures 17.5 x 15.5, frame is 23 x 21 inches.
Very good condition noting a toned fold line in the center and one hole on the lower left, bright colors.
