T/Sgt. Arvid H. Edwards, 742nd Military Police Bn, AUS, Pacific.

Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal.

Arvid Edwards was inducted into the US Army on 18 July 1942, and entered active duty on 31 July 1942. On 28 May 1944 he arrived in the SW Pacific Theatre, seeing action in New Guinea. With the Japanese surrender, Arvid returned to CONUS on 16 December 1945, and was discharged on 27 January 1946.
