42: AN ANTIQUE KARABAGH HAND MADE CAUCASIAN RUNNER

The wool on wool weaving with blue field with all-over offset rows of polychrome botehs, within an ivory border enclosing red or blue flower heads between arrowhead plants, apricot and blue secondary borders enclosing flower heads and diagonal bars. The field design and colors are indicative of Kurdish, though the construction indicates Garabagh.
Measures 136 x 42 inches.
Very good condition, intact original sides and ends, low pile in the oxidized browns, 2-inch square amateur reweave in one end, no pet stain, odor or hardened areas, dry and dusty with a large amount of dog hair.
