The depiction of an adolescent girl in an elaborate white lace dress holding an embossed red book and wearing earrings and a bracelet, seated in an ornate carved side chair, her brindle dog is wearing an ornate silver collar, all depicted on a green background, displayed in a maple frame of the period.
Frame measures 8.5 x 7.5 inches.
Good condition, noting the scattered bits of foxing, discoloration, scattered stains, small abrasions.
