168: A 19TH C. REGENCY TOLE COAL HOD WITH CURULE FRAME

The hinged lid atop the body with rounded base supported by curule form ends capped by lion's heads is decorated in stenciled tole decoration also found on the vessel with tin liner, embossed mark of H. LOVERIDGE & CO WOLVERHAMPTON, circa 1890.
Measures 16 x 17 x 14 inches.
Very good condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear.
