290: AN EARLY 19TH C. SCOTTISH TALL CLOCK SIGNED DUMBARTON

The refined case of mahogany, satinwood and other species is inlaid and banded in fine veneers, the time and strike movement with simple calendar is fronted by the original hand painted sheet metal dial, the hands appear to be original, the original pendulum, mounted backwards in these images, retains original matching hand painted floral decoration, the proper right front foot appears to be a replacement, all others look original, the back on the upper case is original, the lower case back is replaced.
Measures 80 x 19.5 x 9 inches.
Very good intact running condition at the time of inspection. We cannot guarantee the running or timekeeping condition of timepieces once removed from the auction premises.
