305: A HIGH QUALITY BRONZE MOUNTED AND INLAID FRENCH VITRINE

The Louis XVI style cabinet of rich mahogany wood with bronze gallery and plume finials over the cabinet with hinged door mounted with bronze trimmings and inlaid with bronze flutes in the legs along with inlaid bronze bands in the blocks over the legs, finely cast and gilded bronze grilles over the side lights mounted by screws through the glass, additional gilded bronze frieze castings above and below the door set with corner blocks of gilded bronze acanthus rosettes, beveled glass ends, the whole is raised on two groups of four legs joined by a lower platform.
Measures 58 x 42 x 14.5 inches.
Very good original condition, very clean, there are no issues of damage or repair, the front right leg has a minor surface split, the design is such that the cabinet sways a bit on the long legs.
