351: AN INTERESTING 19TH C. PAINTED FOLK ART PUZZLE BOX

The rectangular box with pin stripe decoration surrounding floral groups on each long side, portrait of a woman in Victorian garb on one end and three dimensional die on the other end. Turning each die to the correct position releases the otherwise locked top cover which is centered by a carved 'T' handle.
Measures 4 x 8.25 x 5.5 inches.
Very good original condition with alligatored surface overall, there are no issues of damage or repair, light wear at edges and high points.
