460: EARLY 20C. MARQUETRY PANEL WITH THE ALAMO INLAID

The detailed marquetry plaque or table top framed in dark wood molding is inlaid with hundreds of pieces of mahogany, pine, cherry, oak, bird's eye maple, rosewood and other woods arranged in eye dazzling vertical zig-zag lines centering a depiction of The Alamo created in cherry with mother-of-pearl window openings and an inlaid Texas flag.
Measures 45.5 x 31 inches.
Very good condition, noting the loss of two inlaid pieces.
