339: A 19TH C. BURL BOWL AND OAK FRETWORK CUTLERY TRAY

The straight-sided burl bowl of lighter weight having a dry surface is paired with an unusual cutlery tray having fretwork sides and ends with repeating pattern of whippet-type dogs centered by an ornate center handle, the thick base board has scalloped edges.
Measure 6 x 12 x 8.5 and 5 x 11 inches.
Very good condition, noting chips to the dog figures' ears, age effects to the bowl.
