639: REISSNER, STELLMACHER & KESSEL ART NOUVEAU POTTERY VASE

The Design Attributed To Eduard Stellmacher (1868-1945)

The bulbous organic form with constricted neck encircled by a snake is glazed in matte green with firing highlights, and signed Riessner, Stellmacher & Kessel (RStK) to the base with impressed mark partially obscured by glaze with number 4114.
Measures 7.5 x 7 inches.
Very good condition, noting three scattered minor factory flaws in the glaze surface, appearance of a burst bubble. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear. The lighter color near the mouth is a glaze irregularity.
