651: PYRAMID SIZE BURMESE FAIRY LAMP WITH POTTERY BASE

The Taylor Tunnicliffe & Co English pottery base with blue king's crown mark and red internal control number with 'A' suffix, denoting pyramid size, is finished in a pebbled texture with gilding and hand painted florals. The base is designed with a central lamp cup having Clarke's characteristic ridges around the outer rim and lettering of S. CLARKE'S PATENT TRADE MARK FAIRY PYRAMID in blue. A domical Burmese glass shade without decoration is fitted to the unusual potter base.
Measures 5 x 6.5 inches.
One very small nick to the bottom of the shade. Very good condition, no other chips, cracks, or repairs.
