As reference, The Official Railway Guide: North American Freight Service Edition of 1882 lists F. H. MELENDY as Chicago Northwestern RY Traveling Agent , 5 State St. , Boston. This, along with the design style, paper and print technique confirm this as being form the 1880s.
Broadside measures 22 x 8 inches.
Good condition, noting top edge stain, edge tears and chips, adhesive residue along the bottom, fold lines, insect damage along the left side - as shown. This has not been examined outside the frame.
