222: AN 1883 HANNIBAL & ST. JOSEPH ILLUSTRATED TIMETABLE

The two color letterpress timetable, complete with route map, pictures the H&StJ crossing a stone trestle in hand-colored wood engraving illustration that includes a detailed cut-away of the RECLINING CHAIR CAR. The lead image is titled 'Always on Time' and boasts THE NEW ELECTRIC LIGHT on front of the engine illuminating the tracks.
Measure 6.5 x 19.5 inches each.
Very good condition, noting that the piece has been trimmed, divided and mounted as shown without compromising the paper in any permanent way, there are three very minor typical areas of wear at fold lines and a small thin spot.
