104: A C.F. MARTIN TENOR UKULELE WITH CASE

The circa 1940s mahogany instrument with 18-fret ebony fingerboard having small dots, rosewood bridge set with white inlaid rail, 12 1/16 x b 15/16 inch body has fancy three layer binding and tortoise around the top edge - two layer with same around the back, pressed wood plaque inside is lettered C. F. MARTIN NAZARETH PA. There is no USA marking.
Measures 25.5 x 9 inches.
Very good condition, noting scattered light nicks and scratches as shown. There are no issues of damage or repair. The strings are nylon.
