223: A FINE, INLAID 19TH CENTURY HEPPLEWHITE SEWING STAND

The oval form with overhanging top above the three-drawer case raised on tapered legs inlaid in unusual bellflower marquetry running three quarters the length of each front leg either side of three narrow drawers having flame birch insets and mahogany banding. The rounded end cabinets are accessed by hinged, D-shape lids at each end of the mahogany top.
Measures 27 x 24 x 16.75 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, light wear at some edges.
