299: A SIMONS BROTHERS GOLD CROWN WALKING STICK

The ebonized wood shaft is topped by a gold or gold-filled top and terminates at the opposite end with a nickel ferrule and iron tip. The crown is chased with scrolls and florals and stamped with the Simons Brothers hallmark over the number 50 beside a capital letter A and numeral 1 in diamond. There is no trefoil mark present as is typically found on Simons Brothers works that are gold-filled rather than solid gold.
Measures 36 and 36.75 inches in length.
Very good condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear.
