257: A NICE 1920s SENNEH PERSIAN HAND MADE RUG

The Northwest Persian wool on cotton rug with deeply saturated rich, jewel-like colors including the dark blue reserve on a red stepped field centered by a central ivory stepped medallion linked to two pale blue lozenge pole medallions herati designs while surrounded by a herati field within a blue border enclosing continuous turtle palmettes linked by angular vines issuing flower heads that end in curled leaves.
Measures 77 x 55 inches.
Very good condition. Clean and odor free with intact edges, end skirts and good even pile, no damage, mothing, repair or stain.
