The unsigned oil on canvas composition is of the same subject, style, technique and period as those by the prolific artist Alfred Montgomery who depicted ears of corn in a heavy impasto creating each kernel in high relief as seen here. This painting is unsigned.

Good to fair condition, unframed, punctures, creases and tears as shown.
