260: A GOOD CARVED WALNUT PEDESTAL WITH WINGED FIGURES

The columnar standard flanked by back-to-back stylized long neck birds having full figure carved walnut head, neck, beak and wings, each on a single paw foot raised on a circular base and topped by a black marble top. Circa 1870.
Measures 31.75 x 14.5 x 13 inches.
Very good condition throughout, there are no instances of damage, repair or heavy wear.
