123: HEAVILY FRINGED SOUTHERN PLAINS BEADED MOCCASINS

The circa 1890s men's moccasins with long fringe uppers, scalloped tongue, fringed side flaps and wide, flat V-shape dusters are beaded in lazy stitch technique on cotton thread and finished with parfleche bottoms showing a great deal of native wear joined by sinew.
Measures 2.75 x 11.25 x 4 inches.
Very good condition, noting minor losses, soiling and the effects of native wear.
Provenance: A private inherited collection originating 40-plus years ago in Nebraska.
