62: OLIVER DENNETT GROVER (1861-1927) OIL ON CANVAS

An oil on canvas signed lower left and dated 1910, titled 'Near the Rialto' verso by a later gallery tag. The canvas measures 18 x 24 inches, the fine period frame measures 25.75 x 31.5 inches overall. Displayed in an exceptional early 20th century American Impressionist style hand carved and gilded frame with Twachtman style corners.

Provenance: Acquired through Henry Ruth Fine Arts, Kansas City.
Very fine condition. No evidence of inpainting or touch up visible under UV light. No damage, loss, re-lining or repair.
