229: A 1993 JOHNE PARSLEY FACETED PAPERWEIGHT WITH DAFFODILS

Daffodils with Leaves and Buds (1993)
The cut and polished crystal weight with one top facet and six side facets above a vaseline glass base that fluoresces intensely under ultraviolet light. Centering the nice quality paperweight is a nicely worked internal grouping of daffodils having veined leaves and closed buds above the artist's signature cane with conjoined JP. The double signed weight is also engraved J P 1993 along the lower edge.
Diameter is 2-1/8 inch.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
