The lithograph on Rives paper from an edition of 200 prints is signed by the artist in pencil below the image lower right, Fath number 25.

Benton's comments in Fath read: Hill plowing in North Carolina. Drawing and a painting of subject done in 1938. Painting was sold by A.A.A. in 1939. Litho is much like painting. Do not know present location of painting.
Image measures 9.5 x 12.75, sheet is 12 x 16, with a framed size of 18 x 21.25 inches.
Very good condition as shown here outside the frame and mat, the full untrimmed sheet with deckle edges, not laid down, no damage, puncture or repair. There is a faint outline of toning from a previous mat that frames the image.
