105: A GOOD 19TH CENTURY MARITIME OIL ON CANVAS

A very accomplished work illegibly signed lower left, displayed in a fine frame of the period, the canvas measures 18 x 28 inches, the frame 30.5 x 41 inches.
Very good condition, examination under UV light reveals two small points of inpainting on the right half of the image and a 2 x .125 inch scratch repaired on the left half of the image visible under UV light. There are no other bits of inpainting visible under UV light beyond these two very small touches. Excellent condition overall.
