109: ACIRCA 1800 OIL ON CANVAS AFTER CLAUDE LE LORRAIN

A late 18th, early 19th century oil on canvas after the work 'Harbour with Villa Medici' painted 1637 by Claude Le Lorrain (c. 1600-1682), an unsigned copy. The canvas measures 39 x 51 and the frame is 45 x 57.25 inches.
Very good condition. No evidence of inpainting or repair visible under UV light, re-lined 1929. Minor frame nicks and scrapes.
