A circa mid-19th centuryoil on canvas illegibly signed lower right, attributed to James Baker Pyne (British 1800-1870) by the frame placard, style and period of Pyne. The sight size through the frame is 20.5 x 31.5 inches and the frame is 29 x 40 inches.

Provenance acquired through Henry Ruth Fine Arts, Kansas City.
Very good condition. One 2 x 3 inch area of surface inpainting visible under UV light. No other inpainting, repair or loss.
