A 19th century oil on canvas titled 'Nuit de Village' by a gallery tag verso, signed lower left, the sight size through the fine baroque style gallery frame is 17.75 x 14.75 inches, the overall frame measures 28.5 x 25.25 inches.

Provenance: acquired through Henry Ruth Fine Arts, Kansas City (label on verso).
Very good original condition, no damage or repair of any consequence, a small repair evident verso and one small corresponding point of inpainting in the sky upper center.
