An unsigned oil on canvas titled 'Ploughing Lincolnshire' verso by a gallery card and attributed to British artist William Edward Millner. The sight size through the frame is 32.25 x 43, the frame measures 40 x 51 inches.

Provenance acquired through Henry Ruth Gallery, Kansas City. The label suggests this painting was exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1896, 10 years after the artist's death. 'Ploughing Lincolnshire' is thought to have been the artist's last painting.
Heavy craquelure throughout, significant impressions from the stretcher bar, small areas of loss. Scattered surface inpainting visible under UV light.
