A 19th century painted wood panel from a boiserie, oil on canvas painting of classical ruins framed by beaded molding above a mirror with beaded molding flanked by applied wood carvings and moldings gessoed and painted in cream with gold. The canvas measures 24.5 x 24 inches, overall measurement 73 x 45 inches.
Very good condition noting the effects of age as minor wear to the gold, minor losses of gesso, small chips, wood shrinkage, silvering losses to the mirror. No damage, touch up or repair of the painting.
