438: ORNATE EARLY 20C STERLING FEEDING SPOONS BY WHITING

Three examples, each with ornate rococo handle and sculpted child's face in the bowl, are struck with stamped maker's mark and engraved with the Bird family monogram back side.
Measure 5.75 inches each, total weight 4.90 ozt.
Very good condition, noting engraved monogram back side.
Provenance: The collection of Josephine Bird Hall (1888 - 1948) by descent to her son, the present owner. Josephine's father was a founder of Kansas City's Emery, Bird, Thayer Department Store.
