505: ANTIQUE CINNABAR BOX AND TABAKO BON SMOKING BOX

The fine quality, intact Japanese Tabako Ban with three drawers and the original silver-plated receptacles is offered here with an Antique Chinese carved cinnabar box.
Measures 2.75 x 7 x 5.5 and 8.75 x 10.75 x 6.75 inches.
The Japanese tobacco box is in very good condition free from damage, wear or repair. The cinnabar box has scattered chips overall.
Provenance: The collection of Josephine Bird Hall (1888 - 1948) by descent to her son, the present owner. Josephine's father was a founder of Kansas City's Emery, Bird, Thayer Department Store.
