The two carvings are after the monumental work commemorating the sacrifice of the Swiss Guards defending the King of France during the French revolution.
Each measures 2 x 4.5 x 1.34 inches.
Very good condition.
Provenance: The collection of Josephine Bird Hall (1888 - 1948) by descent to her son, the present owner. Josephine's father was a founder of Kansas City's Emery, Bird, Thayer Department Store.
