The two sauce boats are lightly stamped. The date mark appears to be 1736 but cannot be confirmed or guaranteed. The ornate ladle appears to be London date mark 1829 but this has not been confirmed.
Measures 7, 2.75 x 5 x 2.75, and 3 x 5.5 x 2.75 inches. Total weight is 10.81 ozt.
Very good condition, noting engraved lettering, in primitive style indicative of earlier pieces.
Provenance: The collection of Josephine Bird Hall (1888 - 1948) by descent to her son, the present owner. Josephine's father was a founder of Kansas City's Emery, Bird, Thayer Department Store.
