399: A JAMES PRINDLE FUSEE WATCH IN 14K GOLD CASE

The case with dust covers and swing-out movement has a hinged front that opens to a porcelain enamel dial with cracks and mark of James Prindle Liverpool, the case tests at 14 karat gold.
The movement is 41.42 mm and the case is 2 inches. Total weight is 104.9 grams.
Cracks in the dial, broken hand on the seconds bit, very minor case dents, the running condition is unknown.
Provenance: The collection of Josephine Bird Hall (1888 - 1948) by descent to her son, the present owner. Josephine's father was a founder of Kansas City's Emery, Bird, Thayer Department Store.
