The fine jade bottle with matching cover set on malachite is fitted to a carved wood stand.

With provenance to the collection of Josephine Bird Hall (1888-1948) of Kansas City, Missouri, it is worth noting that Mrs. Hall's notes confirm she was buying Chinese antiques from dealers in Chicago and New York during the teens and 1920s.
Measures 3 x 1.5 x 0.5 inches.
Very good condition, noting small chips to the malachite rim.
Provenance: The collection of Josephine Bird Hall (1888 - 1948) by descent to her son, the present owner. Josephine's father was a founder of Kansas City's Emery, Bird, Thayer Department Store.
