The Victorian chain is built from multiple links and fitted with an outstanding shield-form rose colored gold or gold-filled slide having hand engraved decoration and tricolor peacock with foliage.
Measures 2.5 x 1.75, chain is 23 inches in length. Total weight of 98 g.
The enameled face shows a bruise with radiating hairline cracks at 7 o'clock. Good intact running condition at the time of inspection. We cannot guarantee the running or timekeeping condition of timepieces once removed from the auction premises.
