5945: UNUSUAL GOLD FILLED AND WOVEN HAIR VICTORIAN JEWELRY

Three figural examples circa 1875:

1. A gold-filled lyre shape pin with woven hair.

2. Woven hair in the form of a horse shoe in gold filled mounts.

3. An oval brooch with woven hair behind a swirl motif in oval frame with beveled planes - some of which are textured.
Measure 0.75 to 1.25 inches.
Good condition, noting some very minor unraveling at tip of the lyre.
