20: AN EARLY 3/4 SEAT SADDLE STAMPED C.P. SHIPLEY NO 27

The handsome A-fork saddle with high front and high angled cantle is decorated with limited areas of stampings and scalloped trims. The skirts and seat are marked with the older written out block letter maker's mark of C. P. SHIPLEY MAKER KANSAS CITY MO NO. 27.
Measures 15.5 inches from the base of the horn to the inside edge of the cantle.
Good to very good intact condition, signs of age and use, darkening, leather warp back end.
