44: AN ASKEW SADDLERY COMPANY KANSAS CITY HIGH BACK SADDLE

The circa 1920s saddle with high pommel and cantle, stamped decoration, buckskin colored trim on the cantle, iron stirrups and enamel copper tag is pictured on page 60 of Askew trade catalog number 58.
Measures 15.5 inches from the base of the horn to the inside edge of the cantle.
Good condition, noting warping of the skirts as shown in the images, leather string losses, no major damage or repair, some wear and the effects of age and use overall.
