The folio of twenty color plates engraved on wood by Bracons-Duplesis is complete with text translated by Michael Deon, published by Editions du Rocher and Nouveau Cercle Parisien du Livre in Monaco and Paris respectively, on handmade paper with deckle edge, total edition size believed to be 260 (no numbering to this), paper with private Tricorne watermark on the loose pages as issued.
The authentication signature of Albert Field in pencil is found on an interior page and a copy Field's Salvador Dali Archives authentication certificate is included.
Very good condition, noting a 5-inch split along one corner edge of the case also with light scuffs overall, wear to the edges of the folio spine, very light foxing and one spot inside front board, very light foxing to the cover of the interior folder, foxing along the top edge of third, sixth, foxing back side of interior folder, scattered minor edge toning to some deckle edges, no odor or issues of any other type, very strong, fine color to each image, no tears, punctures, repairs or serious bumps or creases, mild even toning throughout.
