The low seat between high pommel and cantle is stamped with oval maker's mark and number 512, the warm mahogany brown leather saddle is stamped in a complex trefoil pattern with some areas of plain unstamped leather, the signature is block letter maker's mark of C. P. SHIPLEY MAKER KANSAS CITY MO in oval on fenders and seat.
Measures 16.5 inches from the gullet to the stitching on the cantle.
Heavy wear, replacements, minor warp and losses.
