229: A LARGE, ELABORATE VICTORIAN BISQUE SLEIGH CENTERPIECE

The very high quality Continental bisque porcelain is modeled with a high degree of detail including the button-tuck interior, well-executed figure poses, facial qualities, execution of the rocaille and floral scrolls along the sides and more. The underside bears what appear to be maker's marks, artist initials and the stamp of the retailer, Mermod Jacquard.
Measures 11.75 x 18 x 7.5 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
